My character has the very boring name of Andrew North-Wester.
He is an ordinary
person. Average height, average looks, good weight for height/bone
structure/frame. He has no distinguishing features or marks and
wears
non-descript clothes. He doesn't abuse drugs and minds his own
business.
This is all part of a simple survival strategy; don't be noticed, don't
be
remembered.
Jason is a citizen of England, he was recruited into the strange world
of
magical counter-espionage by his mentor, William H Morgan the Sixth.
William Morgan picked him from third year results in thaumaturgy at
Oxford.
He then went into training for the position, learning
both classical techniques and new magical techniques and acheived many
successful missions in the field for two years.
Being dissatisfied with work assignments and the nature of the work
Jason
took advantage of a freak accident, a major train wreck (possibly terrorist
attack). He escaped from the wreck with only minor injuries and
left the
scene before the rescue workers/police/army etc. had a chance to establish
a strong presence. Stopping only breifly at a safe house to clean
up and
change clothes and I.D. he headed straight for the airport and took
the
next flight to Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong he applied his counter-espionage skills to the far
more
profitable world of contract burgulary, specialising in stealing magically
defended objects. After a bungled burgulary, one where the team
he was
assigned to was full of pretensious, unprofessional, street thugs he
skipped the city and left for the potential of making it big in Seattle.
The clients and the potenial victim could still be both after him.
Jason has a very low tolerence for unprofessional behaviour and detests
highly cybered people who can not live up to his high standards.
Because he always learnt magic with substantial and well funded resources
he requires very good or better materials to perform magic fully, and
will
pay for it. He also has a taste for only natural food and beverage.
